AGV power system is mainly composed of drive motor, steering motor, transfer motor, battery and charging device, which provides a source of power for the normal operation of AGV.

　Motor provides power for AGV during operation. AGV mainly needs to drive motor, steering motor and transfer motor. At present, the more commonly used AGV drive systems are DC motor drive system, induction motor AC drive system and permanent magnet synchronous motor AC drive system.

With the development of technology and cost reduction, AC drive system of permanent magnet synchronous motor is the most promising mainstream development direction of AGV motor.

　The power system is the source of power for AGV. Due to the long continuous running time of AGV in the case of high automation, even up to 24 hours of uninterrupted work. It requires that the battery equipped with AGV must meet the following requirements.

There is compact structure, low internal resistance, high reliability, high capacity , long working life and excellent low-temperature performance. There is the ability to charge and discharge quickly with large current.

 At present, there are several types of batteries.There is nickel-cadmium batteries,nickel-metal hydride batteries,lithium batteries and lead-acid batteries.

　AGV's charging device has a good insulation protection effect without human assistance, it can achieve a seamless and contactless efficient and fast charging with the socket.

In addition, it is equipped with a short circuit automatic alarm device, which can protect the AGV well.
